-Steven Spielberg Presents Animaniacs premieres on Fox. The animated series lampoons Warner Bros. Animation, following the adventures of escaped characters Yakko, Wakko and Dot who live in the WB water tower. The Animaniacs universe features several supporting franchises, including Pinky and the Brain and Rita and Runt.

-Steven Spielberg Presents Tiny Toon Adventures moves to the Fox Kids network with new episodes.

-Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is released theatrically on December 24, 1993. The film is produced by the television animation department and gains praise from critics and fans, but takes in a mere $5,617,391 in the United States.

-Batman: The Animated Series wins Primetime Emmy Award: Outstanding Animated Program for “Robin’s Reckoning, Part One”

-Steven Spielberg Presents Tiny Toon Adventures wins Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Children’s Program.

-Batman: The Animated Series wins Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in an Animated Program, for episode “Heart of Ice”

-Steven Spielberg Presents Tiny Toon Adventures wins Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition.

 

-WB resurrects Chuck Jones Film productions. The unit will go on to produce 6 short films for Warner Bros., four of which are directed by Chuck Jones.

-Chariots of Fur, directed by Chuck Jones, stars Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner and is released theatrically in November.
